A Note Before the Journey
The story you are about to read began its life in a different form. Years ago, I wrote a short story that was complete in itself, covering the events that now make up the first five chapters and part of six. For a long time, I considered that the end.
I recently decided to revisit it and explored what might happen after the original story ended. This novel is the result of that exploration. It is a mix of my own write and a little AI from time to time when I get stuck.
It’s my pleasure to share this ongoing adventure with you, with one or two new chapters planned for release each week. This is just the beginning—Book 1 of a much larger saga.
